We’ve compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions that people typically have when they are first introduced to HaloCare.  

  • HaloCare is beneficial for individuals of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities, vision or hearing impairments, cognitive challenges, or chronic conditions, as well as anyone needing additional support to live at home.
  • HaloCare does not require you or loved ones to feel confident in your technical ability. The Smart Devices simply work in the background, while the individual enjoys living at home and carries on with their daily activities of living.  

    Our HaloPad has been specially developed with the end-user in mind, making it accessible for people who are not confident using technology. 

  • Family members or caregivers will be invited to join the Circle of Care App. The HaloCare Circle of Care Companion App provides a secure link to the HaloPad to allow video calls, comfort calls, photo sharing, calendar access and online exercise classes, so loved ones can stay informed and connected on the client’s wellbeing.  
  • HaloCare works using sensors, smart technology and motion detection to learn your home environment. Our smart technology is camera-free to maintain the privacy and dignity of your home at all times, while providing peace of mind that help is available 24/7 if needed.  
  • Typically, the process begins with a referral from a clinical setting or a personal referral. Then, a trained HaloCare representative contacts the client via phone to introduce HaloCare and arrange a visit at a convenient time with an experienced Client Relationship Manager.

    The HaloCare solution is then installed by one of our trained technicians. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with having HaloCare successfully installed in your home.
