Getting setup in the home

The HaloCare solution has been designed and developed to be set up with minimal disruption to everyday life. Here’s how it works:

Finding the right solution

The HaloCare process typically begins either with a self-referral, when a little extra support day-to-day would go a long way, or a referral to HaloCare might come from a trusted health professional.

Either way, the first step of the journey begins with you.

Clients will be introduced to the HaloCare team, who will arrange a visit at a convenient time.

Family members are included at every stage of the HaloCare journey, keeping everyone informed and included in the decision to bring HaloCare into the home.

Consultant Visit

The Client Relationship Manager will arrive with photo identification and will access the rooms that are used frequently and take measurements

A detailed description of the services offered and how the system works will be provided. Clients will then have the opportunity to ask any questions.

The Client Relationship Manager will gather any other vital information that HaloCare needs to know.

All parties to agree solutions to be implemented in the home.

Installation

It's time to install the HaloCare solution. A HaloCare technician will handle the setup of the technology.

Clients will receive a welcome call from the Care Hub team, who will become familiar voices they can connect with at any time.

System goes into testing phase in week 1 and then goes live. 
The HaloCare solution is now fully installed. Our Care Hub team is available 24/7 to assist with any needs.

  • The HaloCare solution is fitted with an internal battery back-up which will kick-in and ensure the HaloCare service can remain active.

  • HaloCare does not require the client to have any technical abilities. The technology simply works in the background while the person continues with their activities of daily living.
